All Screwed Up

Film: All Screwed Up
Director: Line Wertmuller
Language: Italian

The movie shows the life style difference between the working class and capitalists. Most of the characters are migrants, and the movie shows their struggle to lead a good life with less amount of money. Growth of population, the common man who don’t have any family planning, the people struggling to earn a living for their children and the fascist cruelty are visualised well. It also shows how people are easily cheated in a city and how people fall in traps to earn money. Background music is played and repeated music is used. In the meat factory scene the close shot of the animal eye reflects the helplessness and the struggle of people to live well. It is a reflection of the social and political situation around us. But the thing we should realise is that even after years the lives of people do not change and their pains.
