Home

Blood related lives, bonded by relationships
Under the same roof, stay together
Friends and loved ones join for occasions
Laughter and joy echo in the room.

Shelter from the blistering sun, heat scorch,
Trembling cold, snow flurry
Drizzling rain drops or chucking it down
Step out to see the spring blooming and beauty.

Dislikes, lack of communication
Difference in opinions, arguments and fights,
Like bread and butter love and hatred
Never thy walls allow sound waves to jump out.

Recede from thy life and dreams
Curl around the mattress lazily
Suffocated by the surrounding wall
Wings of wishes blocked by the roof

Thoughts climb up like parasites
Faster than light, narrow as stream
They accede here and there
Draining thy nutrients and energy they flourish

Feed on time, but no one to talk
Looked around, turned around repeatedly
Is this sweet home?
Where have others gone?

Father, mother, siblings behave strange
But their love and support means a lot
Uncles, aunts, grand-parents, niece and nephew
Network of connections never ends

Home, sets about thy growth and persona
Taste buds becomes crisp
An air of sweetness hem in
Repeat in thy mind Home sweet Home
