Board exams of the state commence on March 14, 2011


SSLC, higher secondary and vocational higher secondary exams will commence on Monday. March 14 to 26 is the exam period. This year 4, 58,887 students will appear for the SSLC exams. 4752 private registrations are made.
8.5 lakhs students are facing higher secondary and more than 50000 will be attending vocational higher secondary.
Exams will begin at 1.45pm and students will be given a cool off period of 15 minutes.
Exam stationaries and necessary items for the exams are kept safe in treasuries and state banks. There are 2732 centers in total.
SSLC answer sheet valuation will be done in two stages. That’s from April 1 to April 9 and then from April 26 to April 20.
Malappuram gets the credit for highest number of students (72556) appearing for the exam. The least number of students is from Wayand (11069).
Higher secondary has started help desk facilities in schools to help students in reducing exam tensions and also to clarify the doubts regarding exam pattern. The first exam is Malayalam I.
