No problem arise without solutions

Multiple committees are formed to prepare the syllabus for each class, boards and universities. But where is the outcome of all these committees going?

In most unaided schools , classes begin from the month of May and they complete the portions by November. Teacher gets inside the class with books lifted on hand, it looks similar to fisher woman carrying her basket full of fish for sale.(now education is also a sale.that is different point which we need not consider at this point) . She/he solve every numerical problems on black board, that's the end. How do they expect children to understand by copying to notebooks? What about the concept? The hidden problem in this mode of teaching is students will not know how to apply the theory to solve a problem. In case of state syllabus, not even a single question comes outside the text - either from the solved questions or from the exercise. Just by learning by heart the text will score high marks but will not help in the subject knowledge. They lack thorough knowledge of the subject which will result in the low ranking for entrance model exams.

Some schools never complete the portions but in addition to the regular classes they will arrange extra classes daily or weekly basis( depends on the teacher's schedule). A play of PTA will be called off after the evaluation , where the complaints from parents and teachers coincide. None of the parents try to enquire the reason for scoring low marks. Lack of communication between parents and children, the child's fear to talk openly to parents are reasons why there is no change in teaching techniques. Sometimes parents are not courageous to talk to the teacher. If any student ask a doubt either a scolding or " go and refer the text" will be the response. This is not the reply always- they will give answers if the child got above 90% for each subject. So that shows students getting 90% above only need to study, only they have to Right to Education. This is a clear violation of our law- rejecting RTE and discrimination based on marks.

Most of the time laws stay safely inside the books without any disturbance. There is no point in framing committees and meetings, what we need is to review the syllabus,

1. Include few topics but teach those in detail .
2. Give the child to choose topic, develop their skill on that topic.
3. Never impose any subject on your child. the more force u apply the more stronger it eject.(every reaction have equal and opposite reaction)

Higher secondary offers a variety of courses but the balance always weight more on science subjects. Most schools offer science but not other ones.

4. Courses offered by the boards must be available in all schools.
5. Teachers must be trained to treat students equally irrespective of their marks.Discrimination affect the mental health of children.
6. Encourage and motivate their skills , talents and personality.

No problem arise without solutions .We just need to sit patiently and work it out to produce good outcome. Children are our future, so its our responsibility to train them in proper manner.
