Long time back, granny
narrated a story that describes
about a palace and the prince
on the hill-top
in search of his princess
Unaware about her birth, native place,
life and interests
He built his own world
Distance kept them away
for long years
Over a period of time......
she started her journey , along the woods
forests, mountains and valleys
Asked the path that leads to him
Nobody could give her an answer
Years and years she travelled
to reach besides him
The deed day of their meeting arrived
Eyes communicated , heart listened
Angels in heaven arranged
the weddings bells and flowers
and composed the tone of marriage
And from then on
She became the Princess of His World
