Her Life

Yikes!
Undesirable guest in the family
Washed away the dreams of their life
Frozen wish for a baby boy to love and care

The guest grown up over a period of time knowingly or unknowingly,
Obscure of the coarse life
Caged for the past twenty seven years,
Thoughts chained from roaming around the colourful world
Un-hatched dreams suffocate without ventilation,
Legs interlocked and twined to the window bar
Sharp cornered weapon without license chopped off the wings of dreams
Fixed paternal gaze outside the window, mind ponder
Listening to the rain drops falling on the earth
Wool-gathered the fragrance of freedom in long run
Turned the pages of books to find her world,
Classic silence vibrated in the ear drum
Darkness melanised her vision
World around her smile, dance and sing for merry
She taps to the tune of songs for wealth
Hidden wishes and dreams popped up at times
Learnt to suppress and lock them
They practised bows and arrows on her
Depth and intensity of pain immeasurable
River of tears flow from terra incognita
People approached for selfish needs
Punched her heart and she fisticuff,
Crunched her life but she not a pugilist
Tore her into pieces, and threw in trash barrel
Pretended to smile in public, proved to be a good actress
Sleepless nights covered with nightmares
Neither man nor God gave her relief from the hard core pain
Her life floats along the sea waves, wandering sea shores
In search of a land to build her lovely cage,
With a beautiful green lawn, fragrance spreading flowers
Attracted by multi coloured butterflies and tweeting sparrows.

Moulded in to a money making machine
Denying her right to dream, to love and to live
Friends, colleagues and the entire world fly higher
To land on the celestial point
Her life alone stands still.
